I oversaw the end-to-end delivery of a digital solution to transform the way healthcare is provided. The project involved implementing a system to support virtual clinical assessments for people detained in a secure environment, while also improving the way data is shared between the prison and the hospital.
By introducing this solution, we reduced the need for costly and resource-intensive travel, cutting delays and ensuring people could access timely clinical expertise without the need to travel. The improved data sharing strengthened collaboration between healthcare teams inside and outside the prison, leading to safer, more effective care.
This project not only delivered measurable cost savings but also contributed to the island’s efforts to reduce its carbon footprint. By combining digital innovation with practical delivery, we helped create a system that improved efficiency, reduced environmental impact, and enhanced patient outcomes.
